“One Piece” is a popular manga series that Eiichiro Oda wrote and illustrated. The story follows the adventures of Monkey D. Luffy, a young boy whose body turns rubbery after he accidentally eats a Devil Fruit, and his crew of pirates, called the Straw Hat Pirates. Together, they explore the Grand Line in search of “One Piece,” the world’s greatest treasure, so they can become the Pirate King. The manga has been turned into an anime series, several feature films, and many video games. It has become one of the best-selling manga series of all time.
The manga series One Piece was created by Eiichiro Oda. He also draws the pictures for the series. Since July 22, 1997, Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine has been carrying the manga. Several different companies have made a wide range of products, including trading card games and video games. Viz Media has the rights to publish the manga in English in North America and the UK, while Madman Entertainment has the rights to publish it in Australia. In 2004, 4Kids Entertainment licensed the anime for an English-speaking release in North America. In 2007, the license was canceled, and Funimation bought it. But this release never actually happened.
One Piece has been praised for its story, artwork, characters, and even its humor. Some of the volumes of the manga have set new standards for publishing by having the biggest first print runs of any book ever published in Japan. On the official website for the One Piece manga, it was said that the manga had broken a Guinness World Record for “the most copies issued for the same comic book series by a single author.” Eiichiro Oda is the only one who made the One Piece comic book series. As of May 2018, it is thought that more than 440 million copies of the manga have been sold around the world, making it the all-time best-selling manga series. Also, One Piece remained the best-selling manga series for the ninth year in a row in 2017.
